These supports are used to attach subcomponents such as J-tubes, boat landings and railings to the floating substructure.

Typically machined from either forged blocks, cast blocks or welded plates. Further machining including milling, drilling and threading is required for some subcomponents.

Typically designed by the substructure or secondary steel designers. They procure components from commodity suppliers or bespoke manufacturers depending on requirements.
